The Surf Mesa transforms your aquarium substrate into a hidden underwater grotto. Designed to sit against the aquarium glass, this unique cave features a wide underground chamber, two natural rock openings that rise through the substrate, and an additional concealed chamber.

The two surface entrances give appropriately sized aquarium residents multiple ways to enter their new hideaway, while the open viewing side lets you watch their underground adventures through the glass. It’s like giving them a secret beach club—and giving yourself a front-row seat! 🫧

With its naturally weathered rock texture, the Surf Mesa blends beautifully with sand, gravel, stones, plants, and other aquarium décor. Once surrounded by substrate, only the rocky surface entrances remain visible, making the cave look like a hidden part of the underwater landscape.

Every aquarium—and every aquatic resident—is different! If you need the Surf Mesa adjusted to better fit your tank or aquarium resident, please message us before ordering. We’re happy to create custom sizes whenever possible.

🏝️ EASY TO ADD TO YOUR AQUASCAPE

Position the open viewing side against the inside of your aquarium glass, surround the cave and chamber with substrate, and allow the rocky surface openings to peek through the sand or gravel. Keep all entrances unobstructed and choose a size whose openings comfortably accommodate your aquarium residents.

Please rinse thoroughly with clean water before placing it in your aquarium. Avoid using soap or household cleaners.
