The Salt Dune transforms your aquarium substrate into a sprawling hidden cave system. Designed to sit against the aquarium glass, it features several connected chambers, naturally shaped passageways, and a rock-textured surface entrance leading down into the hideaway.

From above, the Salt Dune blends into the surrounding sand or gravel, leaving only its natural-looking entrance visible. From the front of the aquarium, you’ll have a secret window into the different underground areas—perfect for watching your aquarium residents explore, hide, relax, or claim their favorite room. 🫧

Its flowing rock texture and irregular cavern shapes blend beautifully with sand, gravel, stones, plants, and other aquarium décor, adding dimension to your aquascape without taking up visible swimming space above the substrate.

Every aquarium—and every aquatic resident—is different! If you need the Salt Dune adjusted to better fit your tank or aquarium resident, please message us before ordering. We’re happy to create custom sizes whenever possible.

🏝️ EASY TO ADD TO YOUR AQUASCAPE

Position the open viewing side against the inside of your aquarium glass, surround and cover the cave with substrate, and leave the rocky surface entrance exposed and unobstructed. Please choose a size whose entrance comfortably accommodates your aquarium residents.

Please rinse thoroughly with clean water before placing it in your aquarium. Avoid using soap or household cleaners.
