The Ocean Cradle transforms your aquarium or terrarium substrate into a spacious underground retreat. Designed to sit against the enclosure glass, this unique hide features two sheltered tunnel areas, three organic surface entrances, and a broad open viewing side.

Once surrounded by substrate, the main structure disappears beneath the landscape while the three textured openings peek through the surface. Appropriately sized residents can enter, explore, rest, and choose their favorite underground spot—while the glass-side viewing area gives you a front-row seat to their hidden adventures. 🫧

Its flowing shape and rugged natural texture blend beautifully with sand, fine gravel, stones, driftwood, moss, plants, and other aquarium or terrarium décor. It’s like installing a tiny underground neighborhood—no rent required!

Every enclosure—and every resident—is different! If you need the Ocean Cradle adjusted to better fit your aquarium, terrarium, or resident, please message us before ordering. We’re happy to create custom sizes whenever possible.

When requesting a custom size, providing your enclosure dimensions and your resident’s approximate body width and height will help us determine a suitable opening size.

🏝️ EASY TO ADD TO YOUR AQUARIUM OR TERRARIUM

Position the broad open viewing side against the inside of your enclosure glass. Surround and cover the cave with substrate, allowing the three raised entrances to remain visible above the surface.

Keep all entrances and tunnels clear and unobstructed. Avoid packing substrate into the interior, and choose a size whose smallest opening comfortably accommodates your aquarium or terrarium resident.

For aquarium use, rinse thoroughly with clean water before installation. For terrarium use, rinse or wipe clean and allow the hide to dry completely before placing it inside the enclosure. Avoid soap and household cleaners.

Keep away from open flames and direct contact with heating elements. Inspect periodically and discontinue use if the hide becomes damaged.
